The lenses are the newly designed E. Planachromat Infinity Corrected objectives for brightfield observation modes. The microscopes employ a powerful Koehler method vertical illuminator with a 6 volt 30 watt halogen bulb in an adjustable centering socket to provide enhanced image quality of observations and adjustable brightness control.
