EM Series Lenses

Auxiliary lenses can be added to EM Series microscope bodies simply by screwing them into the threads below the objectives. They can either increase or decrease total magnification, but they are frequently used to increase the working distance of the microscope (Auxiliary lenses with magnifications less than 1x increase the distance at which the microscope will focus on a specimen, and lenses with magnifications greater than 1x will decrease the distance). This is particularly useful for users who need to work with their hands under the microscope.
